About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motorcycle Courier to join our team at Australia Post. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers across Mt Isa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mail and parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate and maintain a motorcycle in a safe and responsible manner
  • Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
  • Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any issues to management

Requirements:

  • Hold a full or probationary QLD motorcycle licence and ride a geared bike regularly
  • Successfully pass our mandatory and practical riding assessment
  • Be flexible with working additional hours if required
  • Have a great memory, excellent attention to detail and be able to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly
  • Meet our safe working load limit of weighing no more than 100kgs fully-clothed
