Design Educator

We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified professionals to join our team of sessional teachers in the Interior Design discipline at RMIT.
This role offers flexibility and diversity in teaching and support activities across various disciplines, following best practices and guidelines.
Our programs challenge assumptions about interior design through ideas-led design practice that addresses the dynamic relations between people and their environment.
We welcome applications from both experienced educators and practitioners interested in developing a teaching practice.
The successful applicants will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering high-quality education and research in interior design.
Key areas of focus include:
- Teaching and assessing students in Bachelor of Interior Design (Honours) and Master of Interior Design programs
- Developing and maintaining curriculum content in interior design
- Providing academic support to students
Applicants should have a strong background in interior design or a related field, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
