Forklift Operator - Fresh Produce Market

Fuse Recruitment is seeking experienced Counter Balance Forklift operators for immediate starts in the Flemington Markets. This is a Monday to Friday ongoing role, paying $39 p/hr - $43.50 p/hr.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading trucks, rigids, B-Doubles and Semi Trailers
  • Moving palletised stock throughout the warehouse
  • Picking stock from 4 separate chillers
  • Picking stock from dry goods areas
  • Transporting stock from the Warehouse to the Vendor stalls
  • Moving stock into the vendor stalls onsite to be prepared for customer orders
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in Fresh Produce Markets is essential
  • Current valid NSW LF Forklift license
  • Experience loading and unloading trucks, rigids, B-Doubles and Semi trailers
  • Receiving and despatch Experience
  • Fresh Produce / Fruit and Vegetable picking / packing experience
  • An understanding or perishable goods picking, stock rotation and expiry date sorting
  • Experience preparing orders for Despatch
  • Experience receiving orders and putting away into locations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent WHS knowledge
  • Heavy lifting up to 20 kgs

  • Monday to Friday role
  • $39 p/hr - to $43.50 p/hr + Super (Dependent on start time)
  • Temp to perm after 3 months for proven performers
