Electrical Engineer Opportunity
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to delivering innovative electrical solutions across various sectors. The successful candidate will have experience in designing and developing electrical systems, including instrumentation and control system applications.
The role involves working on exciting projects throughout Australia, with opportunities to work on high-voltage power distribution, motor control, automation, protection systems, and innovative industrial electrification. You will be part of a talented group delivering critical infrastructure that powers industry.
As an experienced Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking projects for and on heavy industrial sites, as well as Food and Lifesciences, and water sites. Your passion for developing and building networks and client relationships will be invaluable in this role.
The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, technical design and project management experience, and effective communication skills. They will be highly organized and able to work within a larger project team to develop good engineering outcomes for the business and our clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing instrumentation and electrical systems
- Project Management, procurement, and commissioning for existing and greenfield systems
- Scope/requirements definition and procurement of equipment, software, and installation work
- Detailed design contractual report writing & Construction related services
- Learning client's processes to gain an understanding of our client's business across a wide range of industries
- Building strong customer relationships and demonstrating your ability to understand our client's core business and ensure that services meet their expectations
- Demonstrating your ability and passion for providing technical advice and project management capabilities while embracing a culture that values teamwork
- Providing implementation phase support, including contractor supervision, progress monitoring, schedule reviews, contract management, minor procurement assistance, and expediting
