Logistics Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe handling of network stores and materials.

Please note that this job requires a Certificate II in Warehousing Operations or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.

Besides holding a valid drivers license, the candidate should also have good communication skills and be able to provide exceptional customer service.

This position involves working with heavy combination vehicles, maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation, and performing pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and trailer are road-worthy.

1. Undertake the primary functions of receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatch of stores and materials in an efficient and safe manner.
2. Carry out stock check activities as required and identify and report discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
3. Provide exceptional customer service.
4. Carry out regular inspections of all manual handling plant and equipment to ensure they are safe and fit for purpose to maintain an accident-free workplace.
5. Safely operate heavy combination vehicles in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations, deliver to multiple depots, unload and load freight, conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and trailer are road-worthy, and maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
