Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Processing Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for processing and pasteurising milk and dairy products. You must have a strong focus on quality and safety and be able to work as part of an effective team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Operating pasteurisers, homogenisers, separators and associates equipment to comply with operational and safety standards.">
  • Maintain hygiene and safety standards, including CIP cleaning of all equipment.">
  • Ensure relevant documentation is maintained to pre-set standards including completing any corrective actions.">
  • Accurately complete relevant quality and safety documentation.">
  • Formulate milk/ dairy products in accordance to specifications.">
  • Meet required processing schedules.">
  • Minimise wastage including product, ingredients, packaging, process inputs, time and chemicals.">
  • Report excessive wastage, defective products and equipment malfunction;">
  • Isolate and identify defective product.">
  • Provide assistance with product development and trails.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

You should have experience in machine or process operation, preferably in the dairy or food industry. A solid understanding of GMP and HACCP principles is essential. A working knowledge of SAP and CITEC is desirable but not essential. Fault finding/troubleshooting skills are also required.
