Membership Services Representative - DELACOMBE

Welcome to Fitness Cartel, the fastest growing fitness industry in Australia.

As a Membership Services Representative at Fitness Cartel, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences that exceed our members' expectations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Greeting and saying goodbye to all members and guests.
  2. Monitoring club access to members and non-members.
  3. Answering any questions and handling member complaints.
  4. Explaining the Judgement Free Zone (JFZ) to all members and non-members.
  5. Answering information calls over the phone and taking messages.
  6. Giving club tours.
  7. Selling memberships, completing membership agreements, and entering new members into the database.
  8. Operating the Point-of-Sale system and collecting any balances of past due accounts.
  9. Making appointments for Personal Training sessions.
  10. Organizing and maintaining the customer service front desk.
  11. Completing welcome calls for new members.
  12. Completing daily cleaning tasks as assigned by management team.
  13. Assisting with club housekeeping and restocking paper products in locker rooms.
  14. Performing beginning of the day and end of the day procedures.
  15. Providing support and guidance to newer team members.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  1. Excellent communication skills.
  2. Ability to follow directions well.
  3. Ability to work independently.
  4. Upbeat and motivating attitude.
  5. Punctuality and organization.

Additionally, previous customer service experience is advantageous. You must be currently First Aid and CPR certified and provide a copy of your certification or obtain it within three weeks. You will also need to have your Working with Children certificate/number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD from employment commencement date or proof that the process has started. A National Police Check certificate within 12 months of application date is also required. Cert III is preferable but not imperative.
