Compensation Claims Specialist

The primary goal of this position is to provide timely and personal service to workers, providers, and stakeholders while delivering an empathetic customer experience. This role focuses on customer service and support to all parties to proactively manage specialised claims.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement claims management strategies for efficient and sustainable return to work for workers.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regularly to progress strategies and actions.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and provide a high level of service to all parties.
  • Conduct community-based visits to worksites or medical clinics at the initial stages of a claim to deliver face-to-face assistance to workers and employers.
  • Conduct health promotion activities to enhance the injured worker's wellbeing and empower them to participate in their own treatment and recovery.

  • You possess excellent customer service skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes.
  • You demonstrate a strong customer service focus with exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • You are highly resilient with a positive attitude and determination to overcome challenges.
  • You display sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You have strong computer and records management skills.
