About the Role
Gallagher's Legal and Risk Audit & Compliance (RAC) teams play a crucial role in managing all legal and risk matters for our operations. This involves reviewing contracts, providing legal support for tenders, managing litigation and complaints, performing risk assessments, managing internal audits, incident management, and ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory frameworks.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with the Head of Legal, Compliance & Ethics and the Head of Risk
- Interact with the wider RAC team and the intern group
- Participate in activities such as role shadowing, project work, and performing the specific duties of an in-house lawyer and risk manager

About You
We're looking for students studying and/or qualified in Law or Commerce (or similar disciplines) who are passionate about learning, dedicated to service, and motivated. You should have a passion for helping others and be a good fit for our company culture.
Requirements
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Scheduled to complete your studies in 2025 or later
- Available to undertake your internship between January and February 2025
