This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security threats across cloud and on-premise environments, leading incident response efforts, conducting forensic investigations, and mitigating security risks.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security governance frameworks for Azure Cloud environments
  • Collaborate with operations teams to integrate threat hunting and monitoring capabilities
  • Assist in security policy development and compliance with industry standards
  • Create security patterns and best practices for new technology implementations

You Will Thrive in This Role If

  • You have experience in cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and managing security services
  • You have a strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and scripting (Python, PowerShell)
  • You have hands-on experience with security platforms such as Microsoft Defender, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions
  • You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to assess security threats
  • You have strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with internal teams and service providers
  • You have relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, GCIH, Microsoft Security) (desired)
