We're seeking an exceptional Data Engineering Project Manager to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for bridging technology and business value, this is your opportunity to shine.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the conception, design, delivery, and testing of solutions that drive real impact. You'll work closely with data engineers and agile development teams to define, document, and implement features for web applications, business infrastructure, and data structures.

About the Role

As a Data Engineering Project Manager, you'll:

  • Be the voice of the customer at the table, prioritizing solutions that deliver real value.
  • Prioritize tasks using a clear framework, ensuring easy explanation of why certain decisions are made.
  • Maintain a comprehensive overview of team objectives and how they contribute to company goals.
  • Evaluate the viability, feasibility, and desirability of proposed solutions.
  • Develop documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and charts to communicate complex ideas.
  • Analyze performance, experiment with new approaches, and improve team velocity by measuring and surfacing agile metrics.

Your Background

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an agile environment, preferably as a Product Owner or Technical Business Analyst in the Data space.
  • Experience supporting and delivering data engineering projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent written and oral communication abilities.
  • Effective stakeholder and relationship management.
  • Documenting, monitoring, and revising product requirements, process maps, use cases, user acceptance test plans, business models, data models, flows, project plans, and release notes.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database systems.
