Airport Mobility Assistant

At our airport, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to passengers with special needs. As a Passenger Service Officer, your primary goal is to ensure these customers arrive safely and on time at their destination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting passengers requiring wheelchair assistance
  • Completing relevant documentation
  • Providing accurate information to passengers
  • Operating lifting devices, such as Eagle Hoists, to assist wheelchair passengers
  • Transferring personal wheelchairs for passengers, in accordance with airline approved methods
  • Helping passengers maneuver luggage from the baggage belt onto a trolley
  • Collecting equipment, including wheelchairs and E-Caddy, to ensure it's stored effectively around the airport
  • Assisting customers find family or friends collecting them at designated drop-off points within the airport boundaries

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Clear communication and good interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with special needs or reduced mobility persons - desirable
  • Background in the Aviation/Airline industry - desirable
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Strong teamwork and customer focus
  • Calm under pressure
