**Job Overview**

We are looking for an exceptional dance educator with a strong background in musical theatre choreography to join our team. The successful candidate will teach jazz, tap, and/or ballet, and have considerable professional experience as a musical theatre choreographer.

**Responsibilities**

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Fostering an outstanding student experience through active participation and engagement in learning and teaching.
  • Supporting high-quality learning and teaching outcomes for students through technology-enhanced learning and authentic assessment practices.
  • Continuously improving teaching practice through professional development and critical reflection.
  • Providing educational contributions through course convenor responsibilities.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A doctoral or master's qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing with 6+ years of experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality teaching and engage students effectively.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement innovative curriculum and teaching materials.

**Benefits**

  • A full-time equivalent base salary of $110,464 - $131,180 per annum, plus 17% superannuation.
