Simulator Technician

About the Role
CAE is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Simulator Technician to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of our synthetic training devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all maintenance tasks effectively as directed by Senior Simulation Technician or Technical Manager
- Ensure all maintenance tasks meet internal and external compliance requirements
- Work to CAE's Quality Management System
- Participate in maintenance related continuous improvement activities
- Work to CAE's Environment, Health & Safety Management System
- Demonstrate professional, disciplined and safe behaviour in all day to day tasks
Requirements
- High School Certificate or equivalent
- Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Certificate IV Aeroskills (Avionics) or equivalent experience
- Experience in Simulator, Aircraft Avionics or Electrical Control System maintenance
- Hands on experience using hand tools and test equipment
- Good understanding of computer networks
- Permanent Resident capable of obtaining a minimum baseline security clearance
