Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and maintenance on both soft and hard skirts
  • Perform upkeep on tips, arms, cushions, poles, and rollers
  • Execute changes for rollers, skirts, trough idlers, returns, impact areas, and frames
  • Operate belt lifters, enerpacs, and comealongs
  • Install tracking frames
  • Inspect and replace plough blades
  • Utilize various tools including spreader bars, rattle guns, and hand tools
  • Adhere to and promote Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and safe working practices

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

Candidates must be ready to undergo a pre-employment medical examination along with a drugs and alcohol screening. Successful candidates must possess the right to work in Australia and hold the following:

Mandatory:

  • Valid WA Driver's License
  • Working at Heights (RIIWHS204D)
  • Working in Confined Spaces (RIIWHS202D)
  • White Card

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in the mining sector
  • Gas Testing Atmospheres (specifically for BHP Sites)
  • High Risk Work License
