The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert technical support to assist with troubleshooting complex machine faults and offering repair advice to ensure optimal product performance.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders.
Roster and Work Environment:
- Monday – Friday, 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Trade qualification as a Mechanic, Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic, or Automotive Electrical Technician
- Post-trade experience with proven ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Safe working practices knowledge
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and continuous improvement
- Ability to mentor and work both in a team and independently
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice
- Technical/product knowledge of Caterpillar equipment is highly desirable
