Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Product Design Director to lead our design team in creating world-class products that delight our customers. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the design vision and direction for our product areas and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Design Leadership: Provide strategic design direction and guidance to your team, ensuring alignment with Xero's overall product strategy.
- Team Management: Lead a high-performing team of designers, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to help them grow in their careers.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and research, to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality products.
- Design Excellence: Foster a culture of design excellence, promoting best practices, and driving operational efficiency within the design team.
- Experience: Proven track record of success as a Product Design Director or equivalent role, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in product design.
- Skills: Strong design leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
- Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Design or related field, or equivalent experience.
Xero offers a competitive salary range of $160,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. In addition to a generous salary package, we offer:
