About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our Mobile Equipment Maintenance team at our Mt Arthur Coal operations in the Hunter Valley region of NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality maintenance and repairs on our heavy mobile plant, ensuring optimal equipment performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality preventative maintenance, replacements, and repairs on heavy mobile plant
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify hazards to ensure a safe working environment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime
  • Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Supervisor and other team members to achieve maintenance goals
  • Maintain a valid Pit License for break down response

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a Mechanical Fitter or Heavy Duty Diesel trade qualification, with experience in mobile maintenance and diagnostics. You will also have familiarity with heavy mobile plant and a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
