This leadership position involves responsibility for governance, compliance, service development, quality improvement, and advocacy. You will work directly with funders, council, and local partners to strengthen the organisation's impact and secure its long-term future.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the continued success, sustainability, and growth of the organisation.
- Work closely with a skilled senior leadership team to drive strategic planning, operational delivery, and financial management.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and care within the organisation.
- Champion the voice of young people in the Blue Mountains, ensuring services remain responsive and effective.
- Represent the organisation externally, building trust with government agencies, advocating for better policy outcomes, and enhancing the organisation's profile across the region.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong track record of leadership experience in a similar context.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- A deep understanding of the needs of young people and their families in the Blue Mountains.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies to improve organisational performance.
