About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our team at VMCH Berwick. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their daily needs are met while empowering them to maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care according to the care plan, professional standards, policies, and procedures
  • Accurately collect, interpret, utilize, monitor, and report information regarding the health and functional status of residents to achieve their health goals and outcomes
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain a plan of care in collaboration with the RN, healthcare team, and resident or medical treatment decision-maker

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with medication endorsement
  • Experience assessing aged care residents and formulating care plans
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees, and volunteers
  • Interpersonal skills, patience, common sense, and a strong ethos of client service
  • Strong initiative and ability to work without supervision and be self-motivated
  • Proficiency in utilizing information technology, with well-developed computer skills including MS Office
