Senior Associate - Infrastructure and Energy Projects

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Sydney office and support the development of major infrastructure and energy projects for domestic and international clients.

As a key member of our construction and infrastructure team, you will work closely with Partners and colleagues on high-profile front-end energy and infrastructure projects primarily with major contractors and developers.

You will be given a high level of responsibility and autonomy to lead matters or work streams, so you will need to be a technical expert who is confident advising clients with complex drafting and negotiation skills.

Job Requirements:
  • Australian qualified lawyer four to eight years' post-qualification experience in private practice
  • Demonstrated experience in front-end construction and infrastructure law
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to assimilate information quickly and handle multiple priorities within tight timeframes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients and diverse stakeholder audiences
  • Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development
