About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Technician - Supplier & Surveillance to join our Engineering & Technology branch. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of an audit and surveillance program for materials testing
  • Manage, supervise, and coordinate unit and project staff, including contractors
  • Apply contemporary human resources and workplace health and safety principles
  • Provide critical, timely, and specialist technical advice to departmental staff, other government agencies, industry, and consultants
  • Liaise and consult with clients and stakeholders to build strategic relationships
  • Ensure compliance with Construction Materials testing standards, best industry practices, and NATA requirements
