Job Role

As a Test Automation Lead, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, and Playwright. This role involves leading test execution and defect management, as well as mentoring team members in the development of UI, API, and mobile automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks utilizing multiple technologies.
  • Lead the test execution process and manage defects efficiently.
  • Mentor and guide team members to enhance their automation testing skills.
  • Contribute to creating innovative solutions and approaches for quality assurance proposals.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Possess at least 5-9 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Have a tertiary qualification in IT/Computer Science/related discipline.
Desirable Skills:
  • Strong expertise in UI, API automation using Selenium (Java), Rest Assured, and Postman & Playwright.
  • Experience in BDD/TDD using tools like Cucumber, Serenity, and Playwright-BDD.
  • Proficiency in scripting/development with languages such as Java, J2EE, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell, Python, etc.
  • Code coverage tools like Jacoco, JSCover, Sonar, etc.
  • Build automation tools like Maven, Gradle, etc.
  • CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Bamboo.
  • Code version controlling tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.
  • Project management tools like JIRA, ALM, Rally, etc.
