Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineering Leader to join our national water team.

The role of a Mechanical Engineering Leader is to provide technical leadership and oversight of mechanical design and installation across large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical leadership and oversight of mechanical design and installation
  • Collaborating on bids and tenders, reviewing documentation and refining cost estimates
  • Working with procurement teams to define scopes and coordinate vendor engagement
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a key technical liaison
  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Driving innovation and ensuring successful project outcomes

A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline is required. Proven leadership experience in mechanical design for water/wastewater treatment projects is also essential. In addition, strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, familiarity with digital engineering platforms, and the ability to deliver under pressure and manage competing priorities are highly valued.
