About the Role

Orora is seeking a skilled Cold End Technician to provide electrical and mechanical support for our machines. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing machine performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to ensure optimal production efficiency and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyse and optimize machine performance through data review (daily, weekly, and monthly) and corrective actions.
  • Maintain machine set points and monitor necessary data for peak performance.
  • Execute cold end job changes efficiently and safely to achieve maximum quality and output.
  • Provide feedback and support on MEX work orders.
  • Ensure all products meet the highest quality standards with no defects.

Requirements

  • Holds an A class Electrical licence and Electrical trade qualification
  • Has previous PLC knowledge and experience, along with Industrial Electrical experience
  • Has strong computer literacy skills
  • Follows and promotes safe work practices
  • Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail
  • Can manage changing priorities
  • Has excellent communication skills including the capacity to communicate quality expectations to supervisors, operators and staff
