About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our state sales team and drive business growth in the courier, taxi truck, and specialized logistics sectors. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership and a deep understanding of the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
    • Manage, lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Executives to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Performance Management
    • Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met by each team member and the team as a whole.
    • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address gaps in performance.
  • Business Development
    • Develop and implement strategies to identify and close new business opportunities in the state.
    • Liaise with other state managers and teams to facilitate the generation of new business across the network.
  • Analysis and Reporting
    • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance and business growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the courier, taxi truck, and specialized logistics sectors.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills to develop and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Ability to analyze sales performance data and provide actionable insights to drive business growth.
  • Commercial awareness to identify new areas of opportunity and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
