Lycopodium Minerals is a leading global provider of engineering and project delivery services, with a strong presence in Australia, Africa, Canada, Peru, and the Philippines.

We are currently seeking a Lead/Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Perth, where you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects across the resources, infrastructure, and industrial processes sectors.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance in the planning, designing, evaluating, executing, and handover of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with company, client, and project requirements.

The tasks you will perform include:

  • Assisting with ensuring compliance with project-specific requirements and current industry work codes and standards.
  • Contributing to project control activities, including scheduling, forecasting, and other deliverables, to a consistently high standard.
  • Assisting with and performing procurement, inspection, and expediting activities.
  • Carrying out assigned project activities, including site engineer duties, in a manner that prioritizes safety, environment, community, and industrial relations.
  • Assisting the Project Manager in developing and maintaining the project quality management facility to ensure project quality targets and reporting are met.
  • Contributing to the preparation of construction reports, contracts, and schedules, managing tender and contract documentation for review in accordance with quality assurance.

The expertise we require includes:

  • Bachelor of Engineering, preferably mechanical engineering.
  • Min 7 years' postgraduate experience in a similar position, ideally within an EPCM environment.
  • Experience working on Mineral Processing Plants or similar capital projects will be highly regarded.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Proactively seeking and accepting guidance and feedback provided by subject matter experts.
  • Determination and drive to achieve objectives through continued professional development.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
