About the Role

We are seeking a Part-time Therapy Assistant to join our team in Blackburn VIC. As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of skilled individualised and group care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow designed care plans within the scope of practice as prescribed by the Registered Therapist
  • Gather detailed information about clients' preferences and effectively communicate with the team to ensure their needs are met
  • Respond to clients' needs, concerns, and suggestions in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Build positive relationships with clients, their families, referrers, and colleagues
  • Document treatments and maintain up-to-date, clear, and accurate client plans and records

Requirements

  • Team player with ability to manage and support varied priorities
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated previous experience working in a similar role
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (preferred)
  • Intermediate computer skills

Mandatory Requirements

  • Evidence of Flu vaccination
  • Proof of right to work lawfully in Australia
  • Valid National Police Check/NDIS workers card
  • Current First Aid and CPR Qualifications
