Proprietary Trading Risk Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Proprietary Trading Risk Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of risk management processes across our simulated trading business.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in risk analysis and mitigation, with experience in monitoring and analyzing trading activities. You will also be responsible for implementing policies to mitigate financial risks and optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trading Activity Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze trading activities to detect potential risks and ensure adherence to risk policies and trading rules.
  • Risk Operations Oversight: Oversee risk operations and ensure that teams follow company policies and industry standards to maintain rigor relating to risk management processes.
  • Trading Rules Management: Manage trading rules for each simulated trading brand to ensure these remain competitive and are in line with company risk appetite.
  • Risk Enhancement Opportunities: Identify opportunities to enhance risk management processes, aligned with technological advancements and market trends.
  • Team Resource Allocation: Ensure that the risk team has adequate resources, tools, and training to perform risk assessments efficiently.
  • Offshore Team Support: Lead and support offshore teams responsible for risk checks, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Daily Payment Rate Tracking: Track daily payment rates, identify excessive payout exposure, and recommend and implement mitigation strategies to support payment improvements.
  • Risk Metric Development: Develop risk metrics to measure effectiveness, perform regular risk assessments, and provide outcome reports.
