About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to join our team at BDO. As a Commercial Legal Advisor, you will play a key role in providing legal advice and support to our business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advocating on Commercial Contracts: You will be responsible for advising on and drafting commercial contracts, as well as providing guidance on legal agreements.
  • Providing Legal Advice: You will provide ad hoc legal advice across the firm, ensuring that our business is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Supporting the Legal Team: You will work closely with our legal team to support the firm's legal frameworks, including reviewing policies and procedures, and providing legal training.

About You

We are looking for a lawyer with strong commercial and corporate experience, who is able to provide practical solutions for our business. Your skills and experience should include:

  • Commercial and Corporate Law: You should have a solid understanding of commercial and corporate law, and be able to apply this knowledge to achieve practical solutions for our business.
  • Employment Law and Litigation: Experience in employment law and litigation would be highly regarded, although not essential.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and confidence with colleagues and stakeholders across different levels and locations.
