About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Storeperson to join our team at Austchrome. As a Storeperson, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch orders efficiently and effectively.
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move goods around the warehouse.
  • Perform basic painting of parts when required.
  • Assist with stocktake and maintain inventory spreadsheets.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Current High-Risk forklift license.
  • Previous leadership experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic cylinders is advantageous.
  • Intermediate level of computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proven attendance record and commitment to safety and compliance.
