Job Description:

Accounting and Finance Role

This position is responsible for providing vital support to the finance function as the company continues to grow in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience working in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Accounting and Settlement: Prepare monthly financial closing for assigned entities, reconcile intercompany transactions, and review GST filings.
  • Management Accounting & Reporting: Assist in preparing financial management reports for senior management, collate data for internal and external auditors, and monitor project expenditure against budget.
  • Improvement: Involvement in identifying and implementing financial system improvements, processes, and procedures, including a transition to a new finance system.
Requirements:
  • Completed or commenced Bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting.
  • Intention to complete CA/CPA studies.
  • Minimum 2 years of overall accounting/financial reporting experience.
  • Excel skills and experience with accounting software packages.
  • Strong analytical ability, interpersonal skills, and written/oral communication skills.
