Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Casual Educator to join our team at Central Coast Council Child Care Centres. As a Casual Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to children aged six weeks to five years.
About the RoleThis is a casual position, working up to 38 hours per week, with the opportunity to work across various Child Care Centres on the Central Coast. You will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging learning environment, implementing customized educational programs, and building strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs that meet the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) learning outcomes and individual needs of children.
- Provide high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a love of learning in children.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and other stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, combined with ongoing professional development.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Previous experience working in a long day care centre, caring for children between six weeks and five years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, children, and families.
- Ability to be flexible with working hours, within core Centre operating times, due to legislative staffing ratios.
