Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team, delivering high-quality services to participants across Australia.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and strong time management abilities, with a proactive approach to improving outcomes.

  • Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner
  • Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals tailored to each participant
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve quality of life
  • Support and advise on environmental adaptations in home, school, work, and residential facilities
  • Recommend Assistive Technology to assist participants with functional limitations and promote independence

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills for managing a varied caseload
  • Proactive, motivated by improvement and innovative ideas
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector
