Global Medical Program Director

Seeking a distinguished Academic Leader to spearhead the development of a world-class Indigenous Medical program at our esteemed institution.
The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting a cutting-edge curriculum, accreditation, and academic leadership of our proposed Global MD program.
This is a rare opportunity to contribute to medical education on a global scale, working collaboratively with our international partners to deliver exceptional outcomes across all aspects of the program.
To be considered, applicants must demonstrate experience in engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations, as well as a proven track record in medical student teaching, learning, assessment, and support.
Additional requirements include experience with designing and implementing Indigenous medical curricula, improving access and participation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, and national recognition of significant contribution to Indigenous Education.
A medical qualification with current registration to practice within Australia and related clinical experience are highly regarded.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Craft a world-leading Indigenous Medical curriculum
- Accreditation and academic leadership of the Global MD program
- Collaborate with international partners to deliver exceptional outcomes
Benefits:
- Part-time appointment (0.6 FTE) on a 2-year fixed-term basis
- Base salary range: Level D $166,851 - $183,563 p.a. (pro-rata)
- Clinical loading and 17% superannuation
