Delivering Primary Care in Rural Victoria

Drake New Zealand is partnering with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) to connect health professionals with opportunities to deliver essential care to rural and regional communities.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our close-knit team in Robinvale, Northwest Victoria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality clinical services including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Coordinate care with colleagues, allied health, and specialist services
  • Provide outreach to aged care facilities and local sites
  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold best-practice standards
  • Contribute to innovative care models and community health outcomes
About You
  • Vocational Registration (Fellowship with RACGP/ACRRM) or General Registration with AHPRA and requires level 3-4 supervision only
  • Registration with the Australian Medical Board (unconditional)
  • Strong clinical practice experience - rural/remote experience desirable
  • A commitment to patient care, innovation, and teamwork
Specific Requirements
  • Current driver's licence – community and home visits are a component of the role
  • Willing to undertake a National Police Clearance at the expense of RFDS
  • Willing to hold a Working with Children Check
  • The right to live and work in Australia
  • Availability to work Monday – Friday as required (minimum three days)
  • Mandatory vaccination policy applies
