We're seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Coles Group. As a Data Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping our data strategy and ensuring the effective implementation of data platforms across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership and delivery teams to deliver Coles' shared data strategy
- Provide architectural excellence in the Coles data transformation program, ensuring data platforms support democratization of insights and advanced analytics capabilities
- Design cost-effective, fit-for-purpose data solutions aligned with Coles' business and technology strategy
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements to cloud data services architecture for optimal business return on cloud investment
- Contribute to planning and prioritizing technical product feature roadmaps for the data platform
- Define architectural patterns and technology solution options to transition Coles to a data-driven organization
About You
We're looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in data architecture, leadership, and technical expertise. You should have a proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale data platforms, data management, and governance tools, and experience with cloud data engineering, data pipeline orchestration, and event hub/Kafka.
Key Requirements:
- Proven years of leadership and architecture experience in a data & analytics function
- Strong knowledge and experience in data, reporting, analytics technologies, and tool selection and deployment
- Proven ability to plan, sequence, and define execution roadmaps for data transformation programs
- Proven capabilities in vendor, partner, and stakeholder relationship management
