Senior Backend Engineer

Are you a skilled backend engineer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a senior backend engineer to join our team at Change Recruitment.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced backend engineer to lead our team in designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems. As a senior backend engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing backend solutions using a range of technologies, including cloud platforms, relational and NoSQL databases, and scripting languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems using cloud platforms, relational and NoSQL databases, and scripting languages.
  • Lead the team in implementing backend solutions, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and code comments.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our backend systems.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend application, data, and platform engineering.
  • Strong experience with scripting and object-oriented languages, such as Go, Kotlin, Python, and TypeScript.
  • Firm understanding and experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with designing backend server or serverless architectures.
  • Solid understanding of web services, including defining and developing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and managed services.
