Job Title: Assistant in Nursing

About this role
This is a casual employment opportunity to provide care and support to residents in aged care / community settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To deliver high-quality care in accordance with individualized assessed care needs.
  • To report any incidents or changes in resident behavior promptly to Registered Nurses (RNs).
  • To complete all activities related to Residents' Care documentation Plans, ensuring high compliance with relevant documentation processes.
  • To participate in activities aimed at the continuous improvement of services.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care / Disability.
  • A minimum of 3 months' work experience as a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) / Assistant in Nursing (AIN) within residential aged care, home care settings.
  • Flexibility and reliability to work required shifts.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and all levels of staff.
  • A strong passion for working with the elderly.
  • Evidence of COVID vaccinations.
  • A current Working with Vulnerable People Card.
