About the Role

The Support Services Manager is a senior leadership position within the Regional Maintenance Provider - North-East (RMP-NE). This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, preparation, and delivery of maintenance, supply, warehousing, engineering, operational, planning, and data management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the managers of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), maintenance management, planning, and engineering teams.
  • Ensure the team has scheduled and planned appropriately to meet maintenance requirements.
  • Oversee technical regulation of maintenance support and ensure completion of maintenance work task orders.
  • Conduct efficiency analysis and implementation reporting.
  • Comply with Object Quality Evidence (OQE) requirements for relevant production periods.
  • Manage members required in uniform and ensure the maintenance of the Technical Data and Software Rights Schedule.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience within Defence and in a similar role.
  • Experience as a Maintenance Support Manager in an Australian Defence environment with a proven track record is highly desirable.
  • Australian Citizen with an active Baseline AGSVA Security Clearance.
  • Diploma level or higher in Project Management, Maintenance Management, or Engineering.
  • Experience with MS Project and Jira are highly desirable.
  • Experience in complex maintenance systems as well as financial and statutory compliance.
