Lab Technician Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lab Technician to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory, you will be responsible for conducting technical laboratory procedures, analyzing samples, and reporting findings to the laboratory manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, label, and analyze various types of samples, including blood, toxic, and tissue samples.
  • Design and execute laboratory tests according to standard procedures, make observations, and interpret findings.
  • Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify or reject hypotheses using scientific methods.
  • Organize and store chemicals, fluids, and gases safely.
  • Accurately record all data and results in prescribed formats (paper and electronic).
  • Maintain equipment and assist in ordering supplies.
  • Follow safety guidelines strictly and maintain a clean environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Lab Technician or relevant role.
  • Experience operating electrical and non-electrical lab equipment and handling hazardous substances.
  • Knowledge of QHSE systems, safety measures, and lab best practices.
  • Good physical condition and endurance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Valid laboratory technician license.
  • Degree in biology, chemistry, or a relevant field.
