Job Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer - Space Infrastructure Development

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced electrical engineer to join our team in developing the infrastructure necessary for long-term human life on Mars.

This role is part of a critical project responsible for delivering large-scale capital projects to various internal customer groups across the organization.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in designing or building commercial or industrial power systems.

  • Lead the project team through the entire engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning process
  • Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial type projects
  • Negotiate and manage construction contracts with subcontractors
  • Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To lead the project team through all phases of project delivery from inception to completion.
  2. To develop and implement effective project management strategies that ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  3. To oversee the development of detailed technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
  4. To negotiate and manage construction contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  2. Minimum 6+ years of experience in designing or building commercial or industrial power systems.
  3. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, control systems, and electrical safety.
  4. Excellent leadership and project management skills, with ability to coordinate with stakeholders.
  5. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
