About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Healthscope as a highly skilled and experienced ANUM - Urology/Vascular Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical operational direction for the unit, ensuring efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence-based.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement and professional development of staff.
- Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high-quality patient outcomes.
- Provide clinical operational direction for the unit, ensuring efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence-based.
- Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial, and material resources.
- Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Undertake direct patient care, as required, and mentor staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
Selection Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA.
- Working with Children's check.
- Current or previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience (desirable).
- Sound clinical knowledge and 3 years of clinical/surgical experience.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive role modeling behaviors.
- Ability to work across a rotating roster of AM/PM/ND shifts.
- Excellent customer service focus, time management, and prioritization.
