Job Summary:
Deli assistants are crucial in ensuring that our stores maintain high-quality standards. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various tasks such as slicing meats and cheeses, assembling party trays, and following health codes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Slice meats and cheeses using commercial slicers and scales.
- Assemble party trays, meals, pizzas, and salads by combining sliced ingredients.
- Cook chickens and ribs in the rotisserie oven and package them according to product specifications.
- Use automated wrapping machines to wrap products, weigh, label, and stock them in the display case.
- Monitor finished products to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
- Follow health codes such as sanitation, temperatures, and pull dates.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Count products on hand, figure production needs, and fill out daily forms.
- Record product to be salvaged, damaged, or destroyed for manager audits.
- Clean the deli area by sweeping, mopping, spraying, wiping, scrubbing, and low-pressure washing.
- Provide prompt and courteous member service.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: High school certificate or higher.
- Licenses/Certifications: Food Safety preferred.
- Experience: Food Preparation preferred.
