We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Planner to join our building team at Georgiou Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing input into methodology development, reviewing construction drawings and specifications, and developing and maintaining project schedules in Primavera.
Key Responsibilities:- Reviewing construction drawings and specifications to develop a strong understanding of the project scope, task durations, and project constraints/deadlines
- Providing input into methodology development to inform sequencing and relating this information into a logical schedule
- Developing and maintaining project schedules in Primavera (Contractor or Project Management modules) for tender proposals in line with Georgiou standards and requirements
- Undertaking schedule risk analyses (SRA) on tender programmes to inform contingency allowances
- Enhancing schedules prepared during the tender phase for awarded projects (up to level 5 detail when necessary including but not limited to resourcing man hours and quantities) and handing over to the Project Manager prior to commencement of the project
- Undertaking regular contract programme status reviews and interpreting data into standardised reports
- Assisting project teams in undertaking delay analyses, developing impacted schedules, and submitting EOT's
- Assisting project teams with the training and development of personnel in regard to planning and scheduling as required
- Solid communication, organisation, and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Confidence to report on all aspects of the project stages
- Bachelor degree in engineering or similar
