About the RoleWe are seeking talented individuals to join our team of psychologists in Canberra, one of Australia's largest healthcare providers. As part of the multi-disciplinary team, you will facilitate group therapy programs and provide individual therapy for inpatients at Bruce Private Hospital.
The role involves providing consultation and liaison to other areas of the hospital as needed, with a focus on collaborative decision making and care planning.
As a key member of the Hyson Green team, you will be empowered to deliver high-quality, evidence-based treatments to the community, improving professional knowledge and skills within an enriching clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- With minimal direction, provide professional health services including assessment, formulation, counselling, therapeutic intervention, case management, consultation and referral as required.
- Develop and deliver group therapy programs and therapeutic interventions for clients in Hyson Green and other areas of the hospital.
- Consult and liaise with other health professionals and external agencies to ensure ongoing support for patients during their recovery.
- Undertake administrative duties including preparation of reports, maintenance of records, and provision of regular statistical information as required.
- Participate in staff training opportunities and provide in-service training to other staff as appropriate.
- Contribute to the work of a multi-disciplinary team to meet the goals of Hyson Green.
$110,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including NFP salary packaging, discounted health insurance, gym memberships, paid parental leave, and flexible working hours.
