About Acumen

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at Acumen Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting ADF personnel who have sustained physical and/or psychological injuries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take a holistic care approach to support the journey from rehab to healing, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Perform a variety of assessments, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic, or activities of daily living assessments, depending on your area of clinical expertise.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including employees, medical specialists, treatment providers, and allied health professionals, to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans, ensuring a genuine person-centred focus and goal setting.

Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA, or AASW).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy, or Social Work.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal.
  • Passion to help people rehabilitate and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
