We are seeking a facilities manager or assets manager to be responsible for the day-to-day management of properties on behalf of the government. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of public assets including schools, hospitals, courts, police stations, and other buildings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying areas of risk and opportunity in relation to maintenance and capital works, developing and implementing plans to achieve commercial targets and optimise lifecycle cost of facilities and/or assets.
  • Supporting the delivery of strategic asset plans and all other initiatives
  • Analysing regular call-outs, reactive maintenance, and other requests to inform asset maintenance plans and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Serving as the first point of contact for technical, facilities management, and asset maintenance queries.
  • Monitoring and directing contractor performance to ensure that all contracts are executed to budget and scope.
  • Supporting compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Assisting with audits and inspections.
  • Buidling and maintaining positive relationships with staff, sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Ensuring record management and reporting to inform proactive performance adherence of sub-contractors on site.
