Plumbing Teacher Opportunity

As a Plumbing teacher, you will have the opportunity to give students from diverse backgrounds the skills they need to succeed at work and in their future.

The Role

  • Influence the careers of future industry professionals by sharing your expertise with students.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • You must possess relevant industry skills directly related to the training and assessment being provided;
  • current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
  • evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment.

To become a qualified teacher, you must hold a qualification in adult education, primarily the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent.

Requirements:

  • A certificate in plumbing or equivalent is required;

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided.
  • Knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided.
  • Evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment.
