Industrial Automation Specialist

Mechatronics Engineers at Daniels Health are responsible for designing, developing and implementing automated systems that improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance quality across global waste processing operations.
The successful candidate will be part of a mission to make the world safer, more sustainable and more efficient.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and optimize industrial automation systems and factory layouts.
- Analyse production data and recommend process improvements.
- Lead integration of sensors, actuators and control systems including PLC and HMI.
- Collaborate with global teams and external suppliers.
- Support system testing, commissioning and ongoing performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards including OSHA, ANSI and ISO.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Five or more years of hands-on experience in automation or mechatronics.
- Strong knowledge of PLC and HMI programming and industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks including 2D and 3D modeling, BOMs and assemblies.
- Experience with lean principles and process optimization.
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
